THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD CONSULT ELIGIBILITY AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS, AS SET FORTH BELOW. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY OR TO RECEIVE A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. How To Enter: Go to www.studenttraveler.com. Register with Student Traveler by providing your mailing and email addresses and check any area of interest of travel you would like more information about. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on August 31st, 2006. Entrants must have a valid email and mailing address. Maximum one survey per household. To enter via mail, send your name, address, and telephone number to Student Traveler 714 W. Olympic Blvd Suite 701 Los Angeles CA 90015, postmarked no later than August 31st, 2006. Limit one entry per household regardless of method of entry. No mechanical reproductions. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or postage due mail or entries. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
2. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about August 31st, 2006 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of the judges are final.
3. One (1) winner will receive one free airfare ticket voucher from ORBITZ for a total value of $1,000 as well as ten (10) nights accommodation from Hostelworld.com. One Hundered (100) second prize winners will receive a free Hostelworld.com Gold Card worth $10 and will pay no hostel booking fees for a year". Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Winner must travel before December 31st, 2006.
4.Hostel dorm accommodation provided by Hostelworld.com in accommodation of its choosing for two people for ten nights and is subject to availability.
5. The Winner (and his companion, if any) must complete all travel and avail of all accommodation comprised in the First Prize on or before 31st December 2006
6.In the event that the Winner cancels or fails to present for any flight, accommodation in whole or in part, or fails to comply with any rule, regulation or policy of the hostel , no refund or compensation whatsoever shall be paid or payable by the hostelworld.com to the Winner.
7.The Entrant acknowledges that prizes offered in the Draw have no cash value.
8.Each Entrant releases and holds hostelworld.com and its employees, agents, sub-contractors and consultants harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Draw or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize, including without limitation, personal injury, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy
9. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older, except persons who from January 1, 2004 are employees of Shopper's Voice, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries or agents, or companies engaged in the development, production or distribution of game materials and members of their immediate families (parent, grandparent, sibling, child or spouse of any of the foregoing) or persons residing in their respective households. Void where prohibited.
10. Conditions Of Participation: Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges that are final in all respects. The winner will be notified by mail and required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a publicity/liability release and any other required documentation within 28 days following attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any prize/prize notification returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prize won by an eligible minor will be awarded to minor's parent or legal guardian who must sign and return all documentation outlined herein. Winner will be responsible for all income taxes on prize. By participating, winner releases Student Traveler, their respective parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and their respective directors, officers, agents, and employees, from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the Game and/or use of any prize. Winner further agrees to the use of his/her name, and city and state of residence for purposes of providing a list of winners to the public on request and for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes, and randomly award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Sponsor, should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the game. With respect to computer entries, Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his or her Sweepstakes entries) who tampers with the entry process. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized subscriber of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. "Authorized account subscriber" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
