• Back support is very sturdy and comfortable, but not rigid. The 500D cordura material is coated with a 1 oz. polyurethane solvent for waterproofing. There is also a Durable Water Repellancy finish on the face of the fabrics. Shoulder and hip straps actually feel great to put on, and the majority of the weight is carried on the hips. It can hold a lot of weight comfortably. The many adjustable straps and snugness to the body make it a very flexible bag, and good for people of all sizes and shapes.

• Bag can be opened from front to see full contents, with additional large pouch on front for added storage.
• There is also an expandable detachable day pack, with durable key holders on each side. The day pack also has its own front pouch with zipper closing mesh and several pouches for easy access and security for important documents like a passport. The pouches are also coated with an additional layer of rubber on their undersides for waterproofing.
• In addition to pouches and pockets galore throughout the entire unit, there is also a very durable side handle to easily carry it as luggage.
