Red Eye

I have to shamefully admit something. I never studied abroad during college. Shocking, I know, for an editor of a college travel magazine. Luckily, I spent a year after my Bachelor's degree teaching English in China, hitchhiking in France, and later, and studying Spanish in Ecuador. So I got my fair share in. Still, as a junior, studying abroad intrigued me. But I didn't know much about it. Wasn't sure whom to ask for the real scoop. I wish I had had this Student Traveler Guide.

We have some of the best articles from the past year of our magazine and new material on all the major aspects of college travel. The resident GoAbroad.com guru, Troy Peden writes about a variety of topics, and our own staff relates the ins and outs of working abroad and learning a language in a foreign country. Bookmark this guide for the year so that you'll have this handy reference anytime you need to take a study break and start dreaming of your next international experience.

The world is waiting for you,
Jeff
